We are looking forward to hearing Pastor Joel Zaborowski speak at Grace Church on Sunday.  Joel is a good friend and ministry partner to Pastor Don who has graciously offered to speak a couple of times during Pastor Don's time away. 
In addition to this Sunday (2/16), Pastor Joel will speak on March 9 about Jesus' meeting with Nicodemus. We hope to see all of you in these coming weeks as we continue "Walking with Jesus" and responding to the lessons He teaches us.
 

As part of the property maintenance at Grace Church, we have wood that needs to be cut on the back property. We've set aside each Saturday in February from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm to cut and stack wood. The Helping People Rummage Sale is taking place on Friday, February 21st 5:00-7:30 pm and Saturday, February 22nd 9:00 am to 11:30 pm.
This is an annual event for Grace Church where you can clean out your closets and storage areas and give what you don't need or use to a good cause. All proceeds from the sale will go to the Samaritan Fund that helps our community and those in need.

If you'd like to participate, there is a form to fill out (see link below). Here are a few things to keep in mind:

- You will need to mark all of your items and set them up on your designated table(s) before the sale begins (anytime during the week of February 17th)

- You will need to return at the end of the sale to collect any unsold items you wish to keep. Anything not picked up at 11:30 am on Saturday will be donated to local charities.

- If you don't have items to donate but still want to help out with this event, we will need a few people to work the payment table during both days of the sale as well as clean up on Saturday. You can also help us out by advertising!

40 Days of Love

with Jeff & Mary Burpee
Sundays at 8:45 am beginning March 2nd.
This class deals with understanding Biblical love and how to practice it in everyday living.
The book can be purchased online or in CJ's ($8).
Child care is offered if you sign-up by February 23rd and note that you need child care.

A Disciple Making Ministry

with Pastor Don
6:30 pm on Wednesdays beginning March 19th
This class gives an overview of the intention behind the ministry at Grace Church. There is no book to be purchased for this class.

Contagious Christianity

with Pastor Don
6:30 pm on Thursdays beginning March 20th
This class will help you gain understanding in various styles of sharing Christ with others.
The book can be purchased in CJ's ($5).
 

Please take time in the next couple of weeks to visit the Lost & Found area in the east hallway just past the church office. There are several items on the Lost & Found shelf as well as a table with various items from the kitchen that could very well be yours. Anything not claimed by February 20th will be placed in the Helping People Rummage Sale! Thanks for your help!
 

We invite you to Grace Church every Wednesday night for some mid-week fun and fellowship. CJ's coffee shop will be open and we'll have a featured game available from 6:00-7:30 pm each week. Bring a snack to share if you wish. This is a great opportunity to bring someone you want to spend time with, get to know better, or introduce to other Christians. The Clubhouse is looking for donations of rectangle tissue boxes to be used at an event on March 8th. You can drop boxes off to the Clubhouse check-in window anytime before that date. 
 

Are you trying to get more steps in but don't want to walk in the cold? Come on in where it's warm and walk inside the church! We'll make sure the building is open and ready for you on Monday, Wednesdays, and Fridays from Noon-3:00 pm and Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:00 am-Noon.
 

Want to Help?

If you find yourselves with an extra hour or two this winter and want to lend a hand at Grace Church you could stop in and do a small cleaning project. There is always something to help out with such as dusting, vacuuming, washing windows, wiping down surfaces, organizing, etc. If you wanted to check in ahead of time, contact Ryan Hickey (ryan@gc3.org) or call the church office (517-852-1783).

Grace Church holds a Meet & Greet for those who are newer to the church on the 4th Sunday of each month. Our next Meet & Greet is Sunday, February 23rd. This takes place right after the service in CJ's coffee shop. It is a great opportunity to meet the staff and leadership of Grace Church and learn a little more about the church.
