The Bible uses many illustrations and metaphors for the church that describe it as being a body, family, and community. The idea of coming together and belonging creates the picture of a group committed to each other and a cause, one that has fun, and shares life.

At Grace, these are positive qualities and actions that we desire to build into the lives of our children and Children’s Ministry. To put these ideals into a practical model for our children, we call this ministry the “Clubhouse” and have created “a place where they can belong”.

Committed and loving adults seek to train children, birth to 5th-grade, in the teachings of God’s Word and to live out the character and priorities of Jesus Christ.

Regular activities may include: singing, Bible training, memorization of scripture, games, and creating crafts.  We, want to make the most of these and other tools to encourage and provide accountability for personal growth for each child; according to their age.

As a church, we are committed to creating an environment where children are:

        • Taught the Word of God and to live by great faith.
        • Encouraged to demonstrate a great commandment love toward God and others.
        • Challenged to live a great commission lifestyle in sharing God’s love with others.
        • Provided with a global mission’s emphasis.
        • Given opportunity to build friendships.
        • Held accountable for personal behavior and growth.
        • Prompted to grow in wisdom, in stature, and in favor with God and people (Luke 2:52)
        • Allowed to have fun!
