Jesus spent most of his ministry in what has been called “The Gospel Triangle.” This is a small geographic area located between the biblical cities of Capernaum, Korazin/Chorazin, and Bethsaida.
We know from scripture that Jesus chose to make his home and ministry base in Capernaum, on the northwest shores of the Sea of Galilee. Bethsaida was a key fishing town and is said to be the home of at least three of Jesus’ Apostles: Simon Peter and Andrew, and also Phillip.
These sites have undergone tremendous archaeological research over the centuries and have much ancient and Jewish history associated with them. This region holds significant importance in the New Testament because many of His greatest teachings and miracles were performed here.
