Our ministry for 6th through 12th-grade students is called the Bridge. It is directed by Ryan Hickey and staffed by a team of volunteers who have chosen to invest their lives into this amazing group of teens.  Their goal is to help each student know God, grow in their faith, and be equipped to share their faith with others.

More specifically the Bridge exists:

  1. To provide an environment where students can encounter the living God and develop a personal relationship with Him through faith in His Son, Jesus Christ. The words of Jesus in John 14:6 and Paul’s words in 1 Timothy 2:5 provide a great illustration of the Lord being a bridge for students to encounter His Father.

  1. To enable students to bridge the gap between the secular world and the Christian world by helping them to grow in their knowledge of God’s Word and living out its spiritual truths in their everyday lifestyle.

  1. To bring positive role models and spiritual mentors alongside the students; to walk with them across the bridge spanning the life of a student to that of a responsible adult.

  1. To create numerous opportunities by which students can creatively and compassionately bridge into their lost and secular world, establish authentic relationships, serve others, tell their story and God’s story of faith, and make disciples of those they encounter.

  1. To instill an inner passion and lifetime commitment to God’s work in and through the local church; so students willingly set out across the bridge and follow the servant path and purpose that God has for their life.
